Depending on the circumstance, we may seek regulatory site closure through selective excavation and risk assessment, implementing long-term monitoring, risk-based closure, or some combination of these actions. Part of our process is the evaluation of the net environmental benefit of various alternatives. We look for the best ways to achieve regulatory compliance or needed environmental permits given each site's specific characteristics, history, and potential remediation costs. We efficiently investigate known releases of contaminants to the surface, subsurface and ground water. Our expertise in the fate and transport of various pollutants from the surface through the ground (the vadose zone) to ground water allow us to customize investigations and remediation efforts.
